I was doing this exercise with my older class, 10ish year olds. Writing two things on the board, winter/summer, cats/dogs, taxi/bus, etc. and letting the students choose and defend their preference. When I wrote ice cream/cake on the board the split was pretty even. I asked the standard, "why ice cream and not cake" and vice versa. One of my students said, "Ice cream, um, um, constipation!"
10 year olds with a limited vocabulary, full understanding of constipation....
