out like a lamb....

With 5 months under my belt I look forward to the next seven. As I was walking home tonight I looked up to the sky and saw the just waning still full moon hidden behind the night fog. A lovely evening, one of many of the last couple weeks. With the good weather comes good attitude right? I think so. I met a new friend at dinner tonight, Adam from London, who has been in Dalian for 4 years. he said to me, "from here on out it only gets better." And concerning the weather, I think he's totally right. When I arrived here, my first few days were warm and toasty and sunny, then snap, for 5 months bitter cold causing a bitter life. But I haven't had to wear my winter jacket in over a week, and swimming has become just lovely with the daytime temps around 50.

And as much as I am upset over the changing of my schedule (which now includes lots of inefficient time at the school), hopefully I'll get used to it.

i'm also considering the purchase of a food processor, which will open up my cooking a bit, at least to hummus, which I miss.
